News From a BookSpace Project Team

September 7th, 2009

BookSpace is a total student project: made by students for the students. The main idea of how people can develop a place to sell/buy books was generated by a student, the business and marketing plan was made by a student – fundamentally the whole model. Today, it is run by eager Webster academics, who buy books and resell those back to their fellow undergraduates.

FACTS

After 6 months:

  • Students saved up to 60%

BookSpace is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to offer students used books that are cheaper than those offered at the bookstore.
