About Us

Dear students and interested parties,

We would like to welcome you to Webster Entrepreneurs, a group of ambitious students who do not simply wait for opportunities to come their way, but rather create future prospects themselves.

Our aim is to create an environment for students to exchange ideas and spark real-life projects, enabling members to interact with like-minded students but also allow them to get in touch with the real world by initiating cooperations with companies. Past projects have included a stock-market competition at Webster, consulting-type presentations for American companies such as Stone Construction Equipment Inc. and InterComp, the creation of a test-concept for a fast food chain "SPUD", meeting with the head of the Austrian ministry of Science and Research Dr. Johannes Hahn, and many more opportunities to follow.

If you are someone keen who wants to find out more about entrepreneurship and real work-life culture, have ideas you would like to execute but don't know how, or simply are a student just looking to be part of a growing, valuable and avant-garde community – we are what you were looking for and might not have found up until now!

Mission statement

Our mission is to promote entrepreneurial culture in an academic environment, enabling students and interested parties to benefit from the various opportunities they are presented with. By creating an arena of exchange, we believe the partnering of both elements, a university and business ambience, is profitable to everyone involved. We strive to meet individual expectations with our provided intellectual capital, thus creating a valuable trade-off between ideas and experience.

Webster Entrepreneurs

Webster Entrepreneurs is an entrepreneurial student organization at Webster University Vienna, an organization sponsored by Student Council. WE's main objective is to encourage corporate culture by sharing ideas, creating networks and introducing creation of new ventures. WE’s main goal is to involve Webster students in a team of creative, innovative, enthusiastic and talented people who are already ready to take things in their own hands. WE, consisting of a dynamic group of students at Webster University Vienna, provides opportunities of implementing knowledge learned and gained into real life projects. WE further organizes guest lecturers, business competitions, job opportunities, idea discussion forums and, as an entrepreneur organization, has direct ties with venture capital firms, business angels and Webster University administration itself.
