WebS3 is a system that was made to enhance scheduling classes for Webster’s Vienna campus. It started out as a case study for a computer science class. Since the academic staff considered this issue to be of upmost importance, this project was continued in the follow-up classes, where a new system was designed (based on the report of the previous class) and implemented. Within 16 weeks the project group managed to develop a working prototype. At the end of the course, the system was presented to the administration of Webster University Vienna. Because of overwhelmingly positive feedback, Webster desired to hire a part of the group to finish the system.

Feels Like Home
A group of Webster students who had personally tackled the challenges of starting anew in a different country realzided that most internationals share the same wants and needs in the process of settling down in Vienna. So they founded "Feels like home" to help internationals and make their relocation process easier, faster and due to partnerships with more than 40 companies also cheaper. The service is completely free of charge!

The purpose of the said project is to promote interest in current affairs amongst the student body of Webster Vienna, and to encourage the application of the knowledge acquired to a real world situation. Inclusive in this will be the opportunity for positive PR for the university as well as a publication of the best student projects that can be used for further promotional activities.
The official start is on August 31st, week 2 of Fall 1

BookSpace is a total student project: made by students for the students. The main idea of how people can develop a place to sell/buy books was generated by a student, the business and marketing plan was made by a student – fundamentally the whole model. Today, it is run by eager Webster academics, who buy books and resell those back to their fellow undergraduates.
